Many Fortune 1,000 Companies, federal, state, county, and city government agencies are mandated to do business with traditionally underrepresented/underutilized groups (e.g., minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned companies, etc.). Corporate and government certifications enable small businesses to compete for these private-sector and government set-aside contracts. This overview course helps participants understand the general principles of these programs.
Course 2: Small Business Certifications’ Bootcamp (3 Hours)

Having contracts in their portfolio can create many opportunities. Future clients find them more attractive and trust he businesses more. Business networking efforts can result in clients referring the business to other agencies.
